The house of Bvlgari is World famous for designing and producing high end Jewelry.
It was founded in 1884 by the company’s namesake, a Greek immigrant to Italy. Bvlgari started making time pieces early in the 20th century. Most were bejeweled models made for the aristocracy. Fast forward to 1988. The first generation of sporty Diagono model was introduced, featuring the Scuba model for swimming and diving. In 1994, as the International travel expanded, the 40 mm GMT model was added to the range, followed by the Chronograph in 1995. The Diagono Professional GMT was introduced in 2010. It featured user friendly, easy to actuate crowns at 2 & 4 o’clock that were used to manipulate hour hand for the purpose of keeping track of a second time-zone. The crown at 7 is used to change the date. The watch features a black dial with white markings that is easy to read in any light conditions. The red & blue outer dial edge is graded for 24 hours of day and night time. The Home Time red arrow hand is prominently featured along with regular local time minute & hour hands.
